Greetings, and thank you for viewing our website. I'm the Author of Adult fiction, Poetry and few Childrens books. I am also the Host of a radio show at 'Robin Falls Kids' on Red River Radio Called ' the Dreams of our children. I'm pleased to announce this new joint venture, specializing in publishing eBooks with mlrpublishers. I continue wanting to inspire Children and Adults with simple stories with a big message. Traditionally, having a book published involved a great deal of time, expense and headaches. This included finding a publisher willing to publish your book; expensive typesetting; printing and binding of your book; storage of unsold copies; distribution to resellers; and advertisement.
Although some of those steps are handled by the publisher, they tend to be very selective in what books they are willing to publish. If you are fortunate enough to have a best seller, you often are subjected to a great loss in sales when a store underestimates how many copies to order. Resellers will often place the books of unknown authors in obscure places to save the premium shelf space for well known authors. Due to the expense of printing, advertising, distribution and reselling the author usually sees only 30% or less of the cover price.
Over the past few years the consuming public has opted to read their books electronically. These books are called eBooks and are read through one of the following methods:
There are several eBook readers on the market, and we offer publishing to Amazon (Kindle), Barnes & Noble (Nook), Sony, Kobo, Apple and Diesel. Each vendor has different formatting and uploading requirements. We will upload to each vendor according to their specifications. Amazon is the distributor of the Kindle, a very popular E-Reader. In 2009 they sold more than 3 million devices; each device is directed to a catalog at Amazon. It is estimated that over 10 million e-Readers have been sold overall through 2010. Your book will be listed in the eBook catalogs for all of the E-Reader devices.
There are many eBook vendors who pay different percentages of the cover price as your royalty. The vendors offer the highest royalty percentage for eBooks priced in the $2.99 to $9.99 range. Therefore, The dreams of our children ebook recommends that your book be priced in this range.
As your publisher, we will upload your eBook to all the major eBook/reader vendors. We will facilitate limited promotion of your eBook within the vendor forums, through major social media, Twitter and Facebook.
We will collect your royalties and disburse them to you.
